Author Guidelines

FORMAT

Strict compliance with the stipulated format is essential. Article submissions must be made exclusively via the OJS system. Contributions derived from the Fòrum IRIA will generally consist of an extended abstract of approximately 600 words (written in Catalan, Spanish, or English), including three to five keywords (separated by commas). This contribution must include, at a minimum: the topic addressed, the methodology used, and the results obtained. Exceptionally, the organizing committee may request longer papers, in which case the invited authors will be contacted directly. For download purposes, the ABSTRACT TEMPLATE (600 WORDS) is available.

Title_ The title of the paper must be explicit and precise, clearly reflecting its content, in Spanish/Catalan and English. It must be followed by the name and surname of the author or authors, institution or workplace, and an email address for the contact person.

Text_ Abstract in Spanish/Catalan and English (maximum 600 words each). It must not include notes or bibliography. The template on the previous page must be used without modifying fonts, formats, or formal configuration. Single spacing; font: Manrope, 10 pt, regular, italic, and bold.

Figure_ The abstract must be accompanied by a representative figure of the work. It should have sufficient quality (300 dpi).

The figure must include a caption indicating its source below it, in lowercase Manrope 8 pt, with no space between the figure and the text. If present, any text included in the figure must be large enough to remain legible (preferably using the Manrope font or a similar typeface).

Figures must be submitted separately in JPEG or TIFF format. Authors are responsible for managing any rights related to the publication of the figures.

Submission_

Papers must be submitted online through the journal platform. The following documentation must be provided:

  • Full abstract text and representative figure in a .doc file according to the attached template.
  • Representative figure as a separate file (.jpg or .tiff).

Submission Preparation Checklist

All submissions must meet the following requirements.

  • The submission has not been previously published nor has it been submitted for consideration by any other journal (or an explanation has been provided in the Comments to the Editor).
  • The submission and its subsequent acceptance of the text by the author automatically implies the declaration of non-plagiarism of its content.
  • The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements summarized in the Author Guidelines.
  • The submitted file is in OpenOffice or Microsoft Word format.
  • Whenever possible, URL addresses are provided for the references.
