About the Journal
This periodical publication of the Institut de Recerca Interdisciplinari en Arquitectura (IRIA) of the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya (UPC) includes the volumes collecting the contributions presented within the framework of the Fòrum IRIA, as well as special issues dedicated to exploring various aspects of the discipline.
About IRIA
IRIA is the research institute of the UPC in the fields of architecture, urbanism and building. Its aim is to articulate, interconnect and promote a field of knowledge that is particularly rich, diverse, and hybrid, yet often difficult to interpret and structure through traditional academic systems.
IRIA brings together researchers from different schools and research groups at the UPC, whose work addresses issues that are central to contemporary society —such as housing, the city, territory, industrialization and innovation, environmental commitment, and heritage regeneration— through academic projects and collaborations with institutions, companies, and industries, thus shaping an ecosystem of applied knowledge that connects research, practice, and society.
