Autonomous system for temperature measurement of electrical cable surface

Abstract

The objective of this project is the development of a small size system which can be easily connected to the electrical distribution cables in order to measure the cable surface temperature. If the cable characteristics and its surface temperature are known, the electrical current that is passing through the cable can be determined.
